The Healey-Driscoll administration has announced a $67 million investment to support small businesses across Massachusetts, aimed at fostering economic growth and job creation. This funding, part of the administration's fiscal year 2025 budget, will be distributed through the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC) to enhance various small business support programs. Key initiatives include the Small Business Technical Assistance Grant Program, which provides training and resources to entrepreneurs, and the Inclusive Recovery Grant Program, designed to aid businesses owned by underrepresented groups. The investment is expected to help thousands of small businesses access capital, technical assistance, and networking opportunities, thereby strengthening the state's economy.
