City of El Paso names new purchasing director

The City of El Paso has appointed Sandra Aguirre as its new Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing Director. Aguirre, who has been with the city for 17 years, most recently served as the Interim Purchasing Director. Her new role involves overseeing the procurement of goods and services for the city, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and promoting strategic sourcing initiatives. Prior to her interim position, she was the Assistant Purchasing Director. Her appointment aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the city's purchasing operations.
