First Marblehead to Release Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 2012 Financial Results and Host Conference Call

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Aug 9, 2012) - The First Marblehead Corporation (NYSE: [ FMD ]) plans to release its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2012 financial and operating results for the three- and twelve-month periods ended June 30, 2012 after the market closes on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. The Company will host a conference call later that day at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time to discuss its results. First Marblehead's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Daniel Meyers and Chief Financial Officer Ken Klipper will host the call.
