Northland Announces Dates for 2011 Fourth Quarter Financial Results Release and Details of Conference Call

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 27, 2012) - Northland Power Inc. ("Northland") (TSX:NPI)(TSX:NPI.PR.A)(TSX:NPI.DB.A) announced plans to release its 2011 annual and fourth quarter financial results after market close on February 22, 2012. Northland management will hold an earnings conference call at 10:00 am eastern standard time on February 23, 2012, followed by a question and answer period. In accordance with Northland's year-end reporting practice, the full annual report will be available on SEDAR ([ www.sedar.com ]) and Northland's website ([ www.northlandpower.ca ]) five business days following the release date.
