TYSONS CORNER, Va.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--The Board of Directors of Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ: CFNL) recently announced the election of Janel M. Angel as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending. Ms. Angel will focus on generating new business opportunities and expanding current client relationships in the Dulles and Loudoun markets.

Ms. Angel has worked in the financial services sector for more than 14 years, and brings particular strengths in credit analysis and financial underwriting to the small business and commercial lending units. Most recently, she worked as acommercial lender at Access National Bank. Prior to her tenure at Access, she served as an underwriter at several regional financial and investment companies.
