NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--The Series B senior unsecured notes issued by Tortoise North America Energy Corp. (NYSE:TYN), a closed-end fund managed by Tortoise Capital Advisors, LLC, are paid in full upon maturity on June 17, 2011. The notes were rated 'AAA' by Fitch prior to maturity.

TYN is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company that commenced operations on October 31, 2005. As of May 31, 2011, the fund's total assets were $205 million.

Tortoise Capital Advisors, LLC, founded in 2002, is TYN's investment adviser, responsible for the fund's overall investment strategy and its implementation. As of June 30, 2011, the advisor had approximately $6.8 billion in assets under management.
