Tim Salmon has continued his legacy after retiring from the Angels in 2006, by being an aAngela to local charities in the Community. The Tim Salmon Golf Classic benefits the Abused and At-Risk Children of Concept 7 and Laurel House. He previously chose to work with these charities throughout his baseball career and they remain the focus of his philanthropic efforts today. Concept 7 is a foster family and adoption agency that seeks to ease the suffering of abused and neglected children. Laurel House is a residential home for teenage runaways and youth in crisis.
