FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--BankAtlantic (NYSE:BBX), Floridaa™s Most Convenient Bank, announced today that its colleagues, located at the BankAtlantic Support Center in Fort Lauderdale, supported Americaa™s Moms for Soldiers with funds generated from its monthly Jeana™s Day fundraising for charity drive.

Americaa™s Moms for Soldiers sends monthly care packages to Soldiers, Marines and Airman serving in Iraq and Afghanistan who receive no or little mail. Many of the servicemen and women they support are assigned to forward Operating Bases or Outposts where they do not have access to basic items such as snacks, hygiene supplies, personal health articles like foot powder, lip balm or baby wipes. Americaa™s Moms for Soldiers work directly with chaplains and commanders to coordinate their efforts to provide support to those who do not receive care packages from home.
