Eli Khouri Joins Kilroy Realty as Chief Investment Officer

LOS ANGELES--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Kilroy Realty Corporation (NYSE: KRC) announced that it has appointed Eli Khouri as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Khouri has extensive investment experience in West Coast commercial real estate dating back to the early 1980s and will be responsible for the companya™s acquisition activities.

From 1991 to 2001, he served in various investment capacities at Spieker Properties (formerly NYSE: SPK), including Chief Investment Officer, where he was involved with the acquisition and development of over $5 billion of assets as well as managing the disposition and capital recycling program. In 2001, Mr. Khouri was part of the management team that orchestrated the merger of SPK into Equity Office Properties (formerly NYSE: EOP) in a $7.2 billion transaction. In 2002, Mr. Khouri co-founded and served as Managing Director of Broadreach Capital Partners, a private real estate investment firm focused primarily on western U.S. commercial assets. Raising discretionary funds from numerous endowments, foundations and other institutional investors, Broadreach has managed approximately $3 billion in investments since 2003. Mr. Khouri received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Stanford University in 1982.
