The feature is available across all geographic regions including Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Australia.

Poynt is a convenient, time-saving, GPS enabled application that harnesses the power of multiple applications in one intuitive package. Users can search for businesses and retailers, gas stations, people, local weather, find movies and buy tickets, find restaurants and reserve a table, and now stay connected with their social network contacts. Poynt allows users to go one step further--mapping locations, adding results to their calendar or emailing results to friends without exiting the application.

The addition of the Share feature to the Poynt local search app allows users to share their location and search results with their Facebook friends on Android and with their Twitter followers on both BlackBerry® smartphones and Android devices. From the homescreen users can share the Poynt App with their contacts via Facebook, Twitter or Email. Users can also share directly from a search results page, enabling them to post the restaurant, retailer or movie theatre where they are currently located.
