









Jeff Stambovsky Joins National Securities as Managing Director

NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--National Holdings Corporation (OTCBB: NHLD), a full service investment banking holding company, announced today the appointment of Jeff Stambovsky as Managing Director of Investment Banking of its subsidiary broker dealer, National Securities Corporation. Stambovsky will lead the firma™s investment banking activities in Israel.

Stambovsky has spent more than three decades on Wall Street as an analyst, trader, salesperson, and investment banking executive. In the late seventies, Stambovsky joined Salomon Brothers as one of the first so-called aquantsa in the industry, reporting to quantitative bond research pioneer Dr. Martin Leibowitz. In 1988, following senior trading positions at Salomon, Bear Stearns, and Smith Barney, he founded the High Yield Bond Department at Wertheim Schroder, which later became Schroders US. In 1991 he became the Managing Director in charge of Wertheim Schrodera™s Fixed Income Department and was responsible for all of the firm's positions in corporate, municipal, mortgage, and government bonds, as well as the firm's fixed income financing operations. While at Wertheim Schroder and Schroders US, Jeff served as a member of the firmsa™ Executive Committees, Operating Committees, and Credit Committees.
Since 2000 Stambovsky has been a writer/editor for Gilder Publications, and also served as emcee/moderator at the annual Gilder/Forbes Telecosm Conference. From 2002-2004, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Vonage Holdings Corp., Inc. Stambovsky attended Johns Hopkins University, received an AB degree in philosophy from Vassar College, and went on to earn his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
