PORTLAND, Ore.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Umpqua Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:UMPQ), parent company of [ Umpqua Bank ] and Umpqua Investments, has named Eve Callahan senior vice president of corporate communications to lead its newly formed corporate communications division. In this role, Callahan will be responsible for all internal and external communications, including Umpquaa�s public relations strategy, investor relations, and have oversight of Umpquaa�s community responsibility programs.

Callahan brings more than 12 years of marketing and public relations experience to the position. Most recently she was senior vice president at Lane PR, where she oversaw the development and execution of strategic public relations campaigns for a broad range of consumer and business-to-business clients.

Callahan graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and is a classically-trained Julliard violinist. Shea�s earned numerous honors for her work, including PRSA Spotlight, Bulldog Media Relations and PRSA Bronze Anvil awards. Callahan is and has been active with a number of nonprofit organizations, including OMSI, Friends of Chamber Music, Slow Food, and I Have A Dream Foundation.
