












Plutonic Power Announces Operations Leadership

VANCOUVER, Jan. 12 /CNW/ - Plutonic Power Corporation (TSX: PCC) is pleased to announce the following changes in its executive effective January 1, 2011. Mr. Jay Sutton, P.Eng. has been promoted to Vice President Hydro and Mr. Paul Rapp P.Eng. has been promoted to Vice President Wind.
"2011 marks the first full year in which Plutonic Power will be an operating company. A refocused organizational structure based on our two principal business units will ensure the Company operates with the discipline and efficiency required to deliver shareholder value" said Donald McInnes, Vice Chair and CEO of Plutonic.
Jay Sutton, P. Eng. has been overseeing the build out of the Toba Montrose Hydroelectric Project for the Toba Montrose partnership since 2010. From 2008 to 2010 he held the same position but was engaged through a consulting engineering. Jay has held numerous leadership positions in project management of a variety of civil engineering projects since graduating from the University of British Columbia in 1997.
Paul Rapp, P. Eng. has been overseeing the Dokie Wind Project since December 2009. Since joining Plutonic in 2008, he has had various senior leadership responsibilities in both construction of the Toba Montrose Project and played a supporting role in a variety of development projects. Previously he held a variety of senior engineering and management positions with a crown corporation over a 21 year career. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1987.

In addition, Paul Sweeney and Grig Cook have stepped down as executive officers but will remain with Plutonic and are transitioning to part time roles. They will be focused on supporting the senior management team and in particular in seeking out new corporate opportunities.
