South Koreans Continue to Fund the Modernization of Hospitals in RS
WASHINGTON, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Republika Srpska's Prime Minister Milorad Dodik and a South Korean delegation met in Banja Luka in the first week of August to discuss the modernizing of hospitals in RS. The Koreans and Prime Minister Dodik agreed to continue cooperating on the modernization of hospitals in the Bosnian entity.
It was thanks to South Korean financial backing that the Banja Luka Clinical Centre and hospitals in Doboj, Prijedor, Bijeljina, Gradiska, Zvornik, Kasindol, Foca, Nevesinje and Trebinje were equipped with modern medical equipment. At the meeting, expanding South Korean participation in the development of healthcare facilities in RS was also discussed.
The South Korean delegation that arrived for an August work visit to the RS Ministry of Health and Social Welfare was made up of members of the national parliament and representatives of companies and banks.
