Canfor Announces Market Curtailment of Its Quesnel Sawmill

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUBMIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 5, 2010) - Canfor Corporation (TSX:CFP) announced today that it will be taking a market-related curtailment at its Quesnel Sawmill, effective January 15th. This decision will impact approximately 180 employees. This will remove approximately 255 million board feet of SPF lumber production on an annualized basis. The duration of this curtailment will be linked to market demand, as well as the economics of running this operation.
