Cardinal Bank Community Fund Awards $20,000 to Local Foundation
TYSONS CORNER, Va.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ:CFNL) announced today that the Cardinal Bank Community Fund has awarded $20,000 to the George Mason University Foundation to benefit the University's Center for Sports Medicine and Athletic Training. This gift will provide funding for the construction of a state-of-the-art facility to help attract and sustain talented student-athletes and coaches at the University.
Kendal Carson, President of Cardinal Financial Corporation, and Kevin Reynolds, Cardinal Bank President and Cardinal Bank Community Fund President made the check presentation to Tom O'Connor, Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics for George Mason University. Cardinal Bank's signature charitable event, the Cardinal Classic, provided the start-up funding to establish the Cardinal Bank Community Fund with proceeds from their annual golf and tennis tournament.
