Wed, January 7, 2009 Sangoma Technologies Corporation: Sangoma Now Shipping Award-Winning FlexBRI Hybrid Telephony Cards
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 7, 2009) - [ Sangoma(R) Technologies Corporation ] (TSX VENTURE:STC) today announced availability of its [ FlexBRI card ], the first in a series of hybrid modular designs, which allows customers to combine analog and digital signals on one interface card.
The FlexBRI card, part of the new Sangoma B-Series, is designed to meet smaller businesses demand for a robust BRI card that:
- Supports a fax machine or other analog device;
- Fits comfortably in a small 1U server;
- Supports synchronous clocking on all channels for 100% guaranteed error-free faxing.
The FlexBRI will support up to four ports of BRI and two ports of FXO or FXS analog.
"Smaller offices in Germany challenged us to reliably and inexpensively connect standard fax machines over ISDN BRI links, while delivering a level of quality and innovation that they couldn't find anywhere else," said Sangoma's VP of Sales and Marketing Doug Vilim. The card will share the same analog FXO/FXS and BRI modules with Sangoma's successful A200, A400, and A500 cards.

As part of the B-Series product line, the B700 FlexBRI is priced attractively, starting around 480 EUR. Now cost-conscious customers can opt for Sangoma's premium audio and engineering quality by choosing a BRI and analog voice card designed specifically for smaller-budget installations.
