Invesco Names Washington Dender Head of Human Resources

ATLANTA--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Invesco (NYSE:IVZ) today announced that Washington Dender has been named Managing Director and Head of Human Resources, reporting to Colin Meadows, Senior Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer.

Mr. Dender joins from SunTrust Bank where he was Senior Vice President and Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Talent Manager for SunTrust Bank. In that role Mr. Dender served as the manager of the Human Resources Business Partner Group, working with all lines of business, functions and geographies within SunTrust, and supporting the creation and execution of significant strategic HR initiatives across the company.

Mr. Dender received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and a B. S. in Finance from the University of Tennessee.
