ENCINO, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--California United Bank (OTCBB: CUNB) today announced the election of Anne A. Williams to the Board of Directors. Ms. Williams is currently the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Credit Officer of the Bank. Ms. Williams was elected by the Board of Directors to fill a newly created seat on the Board.
Ms. Williams has been with the Bank since its inception, and played a key role in the establishment and formation of the Bank. She has held multiple executive roles in the California banking industry, including Senior Vice President / California Credit Risk Manager for US Bank; Executive Vice President / Chief Credit Officer for Santa Monica Bank; and Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Pacific Century Bank (formerly known as California United Bank).

Ms. Williams has contributed countless hours to local non-profit organizations, particularly providing banking and credit expertise to non-profit community lenders. She is a member of the Loan Committees of the Valley Economic Development Corporation's ("VEDC") Financial Restructuring Assistance Loan Program, the San Fernando Valley Financial Development Corporation and the VEDC SBA Micro Loan, SBA 504 and Pacoima Loan Programs.
A native of New Jersey, Ms. Williams is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and has studied at the Sorbonne, the Institute d'Études Politiques and Institute d'Études Phonétiques in Paris, France. She plays USTA League Tennis and is a member of the Los Angeles Tennis Club where she serves on the Board of Directors and is the Chairman of the Finance Committee.
