Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb Wednesday expressed confidence that the situation evolving at global level after US Tariffs is
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has described the recent US tariffs on Pakistan as a "manageable situation," emphasizing that the impact on the country's economy will be minimal. Speaking at a press conference, he highlighted that the affected sectors, primarily textiles and apparel, constitute a small portion of Pakistan's total exports to the US. The minister reassured that the government is actively engaging with US counterparts to mitigate any adverse effects and is exploring new markets to diversify export destinations. He also mentioned ongoing efforts to enhance the competitiveness of Pakistani products through policy reforms and support for the industry.
