Canada has declared its intention to respond "robustly" if the United States imposes new tariffs on Canadian exports, particularly in response to potential U.S. actions against Chinese imports. This statement comes in the wake of U.S. President Joe Biden's administration considering new tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, steel, and other goods, which could inadvertently affect Canadian products.
