South Jordan is home to local businesses and neighbors who say they're starting to feel the effects of increased foot traffic from a new baseball stadium.

The Salt Lake Bees, a minor league baseball team, are set to move from their current location at Smith's Ballpark in Salt Lake City to a new stadium in the Daybreak community of South Jordan, Utah, starting in the 2025 season. The new 7,500-seat stadium, part of a larger mixed-use development, will be publicly owned and operated by the Larry H. Miller Company. The move aims to enhance the fan experience with modern amenities and better integrate the stadium into a vibrant community setting. The Bees have been playing at Smith's Ballpark since 1994, and the transition marks a significant change for the team and its fans.
