DuPont de Nemours raised its 2025 profit forecast and beat fourth-quarter earnings estimates on Tuesday, as the industrial materials maker benefited from strong demand for electronics and a recovery in its water and protection segment.

DuPont de Nemours Inc. has raised its 2025 profit forecast, expecting earnings per share to be between $4.25 and $4.45, up from a previous forecast of $3.90 to $4.20. This optimistic revision comes on the back of strong demand for electronics, particularly in the semiconductor industry, which has seen a surge due to advancements in AI and electric vehicles. The company also reported a better-than-expected fourth-quarter profit, with adjusted earnings of 87 cents per share, surpassing the analysts' estimate of 85 cents per share. Despite a slight revenue dip to $2.94 billion from $3.1 billion the previous year, DuPont's strategic focus on high-growth sectors like electronics and water management has bolstered its financial outlook.
