The Ysleta Independent School District (YISD) has appointed new leadership for its financial operations. Dr. Richard Sepulveda has been named the new comptroller, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in educational finance from his previous role at the Socorro Independent School District. Concurrently, Dr. Maria Garcia has been appointed as the new budget director, having served in various financial roles within YISD for the past 15 years. These appointments aim to enhance the district's financial management and strategic planning, ensuring fiscal responsibility and effective resource allocation.
