New Cash Back Offer Now Available from FirstEnergy Solutions -- AKRON, Ohio, April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

AKRON, Ohio, April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Residents of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland can now sign up for the FirstEnergy Solutions Cash Back offer to receive a low fixed price on electric generation for either three or seven years.  Customers in the program will earn 3 percent on the electricity they use, which will be paid annually through a Visa Prepaid Card.

This offer is available to residential customers served by AEP Ohio, Ohio Edison, The Illuminating Company and Toledo Edison in Ohio; Duquesne, Met-Ed, PECO, Penelec, Penn Power and West Penn Power in Pennsylvania; and Potomac Edison in Maryland.

Residents who choose FirstEnergy Solutions as their electric generation supplier will continue to receive one bill and the same level of service from their utility, and the utility will continue to deliver the electricity, maintain the poles and wires, and respond to power outages.
