REPEAT-Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: BMO Hosts Tri-Cities Hospital Foundation Fundraiser

- Funds raised will support the Foundations of St. Mary's General Hospital, Cambridge Memorial Hospital and Grand River Hospital

- Media are invited to attend a keynote presentation by BMO Chief Economist Doug Porter and Nora Spinks, Chief Executive Officer, Vanier Institute of Family

- Fundraiser now in its fourth year, with $165,000 raised to date

KITCHENER, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 10, 2013) - BMO Chief Economist Doug Porter will be one of two keynote speakers at the fourth annual Tri-Cities Hospital Foundation Fundraiser for hospitals in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. The event will provide an opportunity to hear one of Canada's leading economists provide an economic and financial outlook for Canada and the U.S. There will also be a presentation from renowned speaker, author and recognized thought leader, Nora Spinks, Chief Executive Officer of the Vanier Institute of Family, who will discuss leveraging generational diversity in the workplace.

"Our Foundation is thrilled that the proceeds from this event will continue to support our upcoming Capital Redevelopment," said Jennifer White, Executive Director of the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation. "Our $50M Transformation Campaign will help fund the building of 234,000 square feet of new space and the complete renovation of all remaining inpatient units - an additional 146,000 square feet. This expansion will benefit patients throughout the region and will allow us to continue to provide excellent patient care in a brand new facility. We are grateful to BMO for their continued support."

"BMO is proud to host this event for the fourth year in a row. Over the past three years, we've raised $165,000 for Waterloo Region hospitals, and we expect similar success this year," said Susan Brown, Senior Vice President for BMO Bank of Montreal, Ontario Regional Division.
