IRVINE, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Kofax ] plc (LSE: KFX), a leading provider of Capture Enabled BPMa" (business process management) solutions, today announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Netherlands has invested more than $700,000 in a Kofax solution that will automate and streamline critical functions in [ accounts payable (AP) and invoice processing ].

The ministry will use Kofax Capturea" and Kofax Transformation Modulesa" to automate the capture, extraction and processing of information from more than 200 embassies around the world. Specifically, labor-intensive AP and invoice processing functions will be streamlined to increase productivity and reduce costs by capturing and perfecting document images, automatically extracting relevant information and deciding which business processes to send it to. This will enable staff to better understand and act on the information, and also free up resources to focus on higher value activities such as providing service to their constituencies.
