Most JCP&L Customers Without Service to Be Restored By Midnight Sunday
Water and Ice Available for Customers
MORRISTOWN, N.J., July 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) expects the vast majority of its 13,000 remaining customers without service to be restored by midnight Sunday. Some isolated, individual outages may last until Monday.
Saturday evening's storm knocked out power to some 85,000 customers. JCP&L crews worked through the night and will continue their efforts until all power is restored.
JCP&L customers without power can receive one bag of ice and two gallons of water at no charge from participating stores listed below:
