CHICAGO--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Kemper Corporation ] (NYSE: KMPR) announced today that it has filed a Form 8-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), providing a 2011 financial supplement that is retrospectively adjusted for the companyas adoption of Accounting Standards Update 2010-26, Accounting for Costs Associated with Acquiring or Renewing Insurance Contracts. In addition, these financials include a change in how the company allocates capital and net investment income to its business segments.
