Wells Fargo Announces Workshop to Help Southern Nevadans Facing Mortgage Payment Challenges

LAS VEGAS--([ ])--Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) is hosting a free Home Preservation Workshop in Las Vegas for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Wells Fargo Financial, and Wells Fargo Home Equity customers facing financial hardships.Wells Fargo has invited more than 3,000 mortgage customers in Southern Nevada to the free workshop which will be held on Wednesday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (formerly the Las Vegas Hilton) located at 3000 Paradise Road. The workshop will be held inside of the Paradise North and Paradise South ballrooms. Parking is free.

Since July 2010, this is the third Wells Fargo Home Preservation Workshop to take place in Las Vegas.

Wells Fargo home retention team members a" including bilingual specialists a" will be on hand at the upcoming workshop to assist customers. Where possible, borrowers will receive a decision on a workout, loan modification, or other options, on site or shortly following the workshop. Options include Wells Fargoas own loan modification program and the federal governmentas Home Affordable ModificationProgram (HAMP). Wells Fargo has met with more than 33,000 customers at 57 Home Preservation Workshops since Sept. 2009. Las Vegas will be Wells Fargoas 58th such workshop since Sept. 2009.
