FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - Dec 1, 2011) - Templeton Emerging Markets Income Fund (NYSE: [ TEI ]) today announced a total distribution of $0.6532, comprised of its regular quarterly dividend from net investment income of $0.25 per share, a special dividend from net investment income of 0.3357 per share, short-term capital gains distribution of $0.0013 per share and long-term capital gains distribution of $0.0662 per share, payable on December 30, 2011 to shareholders of record on December 15, 2011 (Ex-Dividend Date: December 13, 2011).
