TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Walter Investment Management Corp. (NYSE Amex: [ WAC ]) ("Walter Investment" or the "Company") today announced that its subsidiary, Green Tree Servicing LLC ("Green Tree") has received its 2011 servicer ratings from Fitch Ratings.

Green Tree received a new U.S. residential primary servicer rating for prime product, assigned at "RPS2-" as well as an upgrade to its U.S. residential primary servicer rating for HLTV product to "RPS2" from "RPS2-".  Green Tree also received affirmation of its special servicer rating at "RSS2+"; and affirmations of the following ratings at "RSP2":

• U.S. residential primary servicer rating for subprime product,
• U.S. residential primary servicer rating for HELOC product, and
• U.S. residential primary specialty servicer rating for second lien product.
