Vivint energy management customers who make the switch to Constellation will benefit in three ways:

  • Fee waived: Vivint will waive the one-time energy management upgrade fee.
  • Use less energy: Vivintas energy management features give customers more information and control over their energy use, which Vivint estimates can translate into an average savings of $24 per month.
  • Low electricity price: Constellation offers competitive pricing on 12- and 24-month plans, which provide price protection against rate volatility.

Consumers in states with competitive electricity markets may shop for electricity much like they shop for a new cable or satellite TV or mobile phone service provider. These states allow customers to choose their electricity supplier and take advantage of price certainty with competitive, fixed-rate options; in some markets, consumers also may choose at least 10 percent green energy generated from renewable wind power sources.
