San Diego Trust Bank First Quarter Earnings Soar 66% on Solid Growth
SAN DIEGO--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--San Diego Trust Bank (OTC: SDBK), one of the most consistently profitable banks in the State, reported its 26th consecutive quarterly profit with Q1 earnings up 66% from the comparable period of a year ago. Net earnings after-tax totaled $302 thousand for the quarter ending March 31, 2011 compared to $181 thousand for the same period last year. The Banka™s earnings were 100% acore earningsa and did not include any release of loan loss reserves back into income.

Total Assets reached $202.2 million as of 3/31/11 compared to $158.4 million as of 3/31/10, representing a 28% increase from the prior yeara™s figures, as more and more San Diegans sought to align themselves with one of the most well-capitalized and consistently profitable banks in all of California. Total Deposits increased 25% from a year ago and stood at $163.6 million as of 3/31/11, compared to $130.4 million as of 3/31/10. More importantly, acore depositsa represented 91% of all deposits as of March 31, 2011. The Bank has never held any abrokereda deposits.
