AUSTIN, Texas--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Active Power (NASDAQ: ACPW), manufacturer of critical backup power systems and continuous infrastructure solutions, has shipped three high efficiency [ CleanSource 1200 kVA UPS ] (uninterruptible power supply) systems for an agency within the U.S. government. The multi-megawatt UPS deployment will provide critical power protection to one of the agencya™s mission critical datacenters located on the east coast. All three systems will be installed in the second quarter of 2011.
