SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 13, 2011) - BMO Bank of Montreal will be celebrating the grand opening of its new branch located at 159th& Fraser Highway Branch on Saturday April 16th. To mark the occasion BMO will be donating $50,000 to the new YWCA Alder Gardens, a housing community for single mothers and their children.

- Three Instabank automated banking machines (ABMs) accessible 24/7, including a drive-thru ABM;
- Full wheelchair accessibility and ample free parking;
- Individual client meeting rooms and counter "pods" for better customer conversations and
- Coin counting machine, useful for small businesses and personal customers.

The BMO gift to YWCA Alder Gardens will help single mothers and their children with supportive housing. The new building will include 36 units, with priority given to Surrey residents. Potentially eight of those apartments will be second-stage transition housing for women leaving abusive relationships.
