Kenneth Chenault, American Express Chairman and CEO Receives the Third Lantern Award for Contributions to Preservation and Comm

BOSTON--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Today, American Express (NYSE: AXP) announced that the Old North Foundation will recognize Kenneth Chenault, American Express Chairman and CEO, with its Third Lantern Award for individual commitment and dedication to public service. The Foundation is honoring Chenault and American Express for their significant contributions to the preservation efforts of many significant monuments and landmark structures, including the steeple of the Old North Church.

The Old North Foundation, a non-profit organization responsible for operating the Old North Church historic site, will present the Third Lantern Award to Chenault at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 15 in the historic sanctuary of the Old North Church. A reception honoring Chenault will begin at 6 p.m. The presentation will include a performance by the Old North Chamber Choir. The Old North Church is located at 193 Salem Street in Boston.
