Cardinal Bank Announces New Officers

TYSONS CORNER, Va.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ: CFNL) is pleased to announce that Laurie E. Hunt, Cynthia S. Stirling, and Martha S. Wilson have each been elected to the position of Assistant Vice President by its Board of Directors.

Laurie Hunt joined Cardinal Bank in 2008 as Benefits Specialist. In addition to her election to Assistant Vice President, she has also been promoted to Senior Human Resources Officer, overseeing recruiting, retention, and employee benefits. Hunt holds a Senior Professional Human Resources Certification and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Cynthia Stirling serves as the manager of Cardinal Banka™s Retail Banking Center in Herndon, VA. Stirling joined Cardinal in August, 2010, and brings to the company over 20 years of financial industry experience. She has recently relocated to the area from Columbus, OH, where she was active in the Fifth Third Banka™s Womena™s Network Group and the Short North Business Association.

Martha Wilson, a longtime resident of the Annandale and Springfield areas of Virginia, joined Cardinal in September. She assumes the role of Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending, responsible for portfolio management and new relationship development. Wilson most recently served as an Assistant Vice President, Credit Administration, with Virginia Commerce Bank.
