MANAGUA, NICARAGUA--(Marketwire - August 24, 2009) - Beneficial Holdings, Inc. (
The Company entered negotiations with the Nicaraguan agents of Industries del Atlantico, S.A., a division of Anheuser-Busch In-Bev, for Vereda Tropical to exclusively serve In-Bev's Brahva and Brahva Beats beers along with some of Anheuser-Busch's imports. Initially, the Company will run a test by adding Brahva's brands to the current beer selection to determine the amount of sales it will recognize from the new products.
In addition, the Company's restaurant has begun full operations at the facility. The restaurant operation currently offers a limited test menu with a full menu being put in place after the test. The Company views the food and beverage operation at this location as a significant revenue stream and will pursue it aggressively.
The Company also allocated funds for and has been in the process of remodeling the casino in anticipation of their grand reopening party. The Company is replacing the roof, updating wiring and plumbing, and negotiating additional musical licensing entertainment at the facility among other improvements.
