LAS VEGAS, NEVADA--(Marketwire - July 15, 2009) - The Board of Solanex Management Inc. (OTCBB:SLNX) announces that on July 14, 2009, due to the immense time commitments of his personal businesses, Solanex Management Inc. ("Solanex") accepted the resignation of Mr. Colin Hall as President and Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, Treasurer, principal financial officer, all other positions he may hold as an officer of the Corporation, and any other position he may hold in the Corporation.

Concurrent with Mr. Hall's resignation, Dave Eckert, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, Treasurer, and principal financial officer. Mr. Eckert, age 58, founded Canadian Firelog in 1978 and was President and CEO of the company until its sale, to Duraflame, in 2007. Given the nature of the business, he became involved with numerous alternative energy projects and has formed a consulting company that examines technological viability and supervises the development and construction of these types of projects.

Mr. Eckert does not have any agreement, arrangement or interested transaction with the Company.
