Ken Griffin, the founder of Citadel, expressed skepticism about the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the investment business during a Bloomberg Television interview. He stated that while AI has been beneficial for automating certain tasks, it is not poised to revolutionize the industry in the near future. Griffin highlighted that AI's current applications in finance are more about enhancing efficiency rather than providing groundbreaking insights or strategies. He emphasized that human judgment and expertise remain crucial in investment decision-making, suggesting that AI will serve as a tool to augment, rather than replace, human capabilities in the investment sector.
