For 67 years the Dairy Queen on Wolfe and Section Street has been the home to countless sweet treats for the people of Sullivan. However, for one family, this Dairy Queen represents the 51-year story [

The Sullivan Dairy Queen, a beloved local establishment in Sullivan, Missouri, has been a family-owned business for 51 years, operated by the same family across three generations. The restaurant, which opened in 1972, is now run by third-generation owner Whitney Beck, who took over from her father, Gary, and her grandfather, Bob, who originally started the business. The Dairy Queen has become a community staple, known for its friendly service and classic menu items, and it continues to thrive under Whitney's leadership, maintaining the family's legacy of hard work and dedication to the Sullivan community.
