Risoldi to Speak on New Models for Utilities
Richard M. Risoldi, Middlesex Water Chief Operating Officer, will be speaking on a panel at the American Water Summit in Chicago, IL on Thursday, November 15th to discussing "Business Models for the Future" and new ways water utilities are using advanced technology to track data and increase operational efficiency. Risoldi recently led a successful multi-product Enterprise Resource Planning implementation initiative at Middlesex Water which integrated numerous business processes including; Asset Management, Customer Care & Billing, GIS, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Mobile Workforce Management.
Board, Committee Appointments
Dennis Doll, Chairman, President and CEO, recently participated on a panel addressing water regulatory issues at the 2012 Water Summit sponsored by the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC). NAWC works to promote the private water sector as the provider of quality and sustainable water services and innovative solutions. At the Summit, Doll was named President-Elect of the NAWC Board of Directors. In addition, Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Bernadette Sohler, was also elected to the Board of Directors of NAWC.
Mr. Doll has also been named to the Research Advisory Committee of the National Regulatory Research Institute (NRRI). The NRRI serves state utility regulators by producing and disseminating research that provides the analytical framework and tools necessary to improve their public interest decision-making.
Mr. Doll will also be representing New Jersey's water industry on the advisory committee of the New Jersey Climate Adaptation Alliance. Facilitated by Rutgers University, the Alliance works to propose policy recommendations regarding adaptation and mitigation strategies from the effects of climate change.
Andreasen Named to Lead NJ, Class of 2013
G. Christian Andreasen, Director of Engineering and Vice President of the Company's subsidiaries in Burlington County, NJ, has been selected as a Lead NJ Fellow, Class of 2013. Formerly known as Leadership New Jersey, Lead NJ works to educate, empower and engage talented leaders to create systemic change around New Jersey's most challenging issues. Fellows participate in 10-monthly seminars where they travel across the state to explore the trends, forces and people shaping the state's future.
