SPENCER, Ind.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Home Financial Bancorp (OTCQB: HWEN) today announced that it has commenced a tender offer for the purchase of all shares of its common stock held by persons owning 1,000 or fewer shares as of the close of business on September 18, 2012. The Company will pay $5.00 for each share properly tendered by an eligible shareholder. This price is based upon current market prices and other factors considered by the Companyas Board of Directors. The last closing sale price for a share of its common stock as reported on the OTC Markets was $4.75 per share on September 27, 2012.
The offer is not conditioned on the receipt of any minimum number of tenders, but is subject to a maximum aggregate purchase of 110,000 shares. The Company has reserved the right to withdraw the offer if it determines that it is inadvisable to proceed with the offer for any reason. Brokers are asked to submit tenders on a per shareholder basis rather than on an aggregate basis.
