Shore Community Bank Announces 5% Stock Dividend
TOMS RIVER, N.J., April 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Shore Community Bank (OTC Bulletin Board: [ SHRC ]) announced that the Board of Directors approved a 5% stock dividend. The dividend will be payable on May 17, 2012 to shareholders of record as of April 30, 2012. The dividend will increase the number of outstanding shares of the Bank by approximately 85,379 shares.
This stock dividend will be the tenth stock dividend paid to shareholders since the Bank's inception in February 1997.
Commenting on the corporate action Robert T. English, President and CEO, stated "the Board of Directors are pleased to approve a stock dividend in recognition of our many loyal and dedicated shareholders."
Shore Community Bank is traded on the OTCBB (Over the Counter Bulletin Board) under the symbol SHRC.
