DUBLIN, Ireland, April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- XL Group plc ("XL" or the "Company") (NYSE: [ XL ]) announced today that it intends to release its First Quarter 2012 results after the close of regular stock market trading hours on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.  A conference call to discuss the Company's results will be held at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.
