TACOMA, Wash., April 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Columbia Banking System, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ COLB ]) expects to report first quarter 2012 financial results on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, just prior to the Company's Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. PDT that day.   Management will discuss these results on a conference call scheduled for the following day, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. PDT (4:00 p.m. EDT).  Interested parties may listen to this discussion by calling 1-866-378-3802; Conference ID code #70317901.
