Power-Packed Lineup of Prestigious Speakers and Panelists to Be Featured at Wall Street 1-2-1 Spring 2012 Conference to Be Held May 8-11 in Orlando, Florida

LAKE MARY, FL--(Marketwire - Apr 11, 2012) - Wall Street 1-2-1, LLC ([ www.wallstreet121.com ]), which will host its Spring 2012 event at the Rosen Shingle Creek Golf and Spa Resort on May 8-11, 2012 in Orlando, Florida, today unveiled its power-packed lineup of prestigious keynote speakers and panelists.

On Wednesday, May 9, Wall Street 1-2-1 will feature a full afternoon of informative keynote speakers, interactive panel discussions and educational workshops created exclusively for presenting company executives confirmed to participate in the speed dating-like "Meet the Money" sessions that will take place on Thursday, May 10 and Friday, May 11.

Keynote Speakers:

  • Judge Stanley Sporkin (Ret.) - Counselor and Corporate Attorney; former Director of Enforcement at the SEC; former General Counsel of the CIA; retired U.S. District Court Judge. Judge Sporkin's topic will be: "The Brave New World of Capital Formation - It Is Not a License to Steal; Are We Going to See a Return of the Beanie Babies?"

  • Russell Cleveland, CFA - Founder, President and CEO of RENN Capital Group, Inc. and RENN Global Entrepreneurs Fund, Inc., whose topic will relate to the popular investment strategy book he authored, "Finding Midas: Investing in Entrepreneurial CEOs with the Golden Touch."

  • Andy Reckles - Senior Founding Partner of C4 Capital Markets and accomplished investment banker and fund manager who has been responsible for structuring and funding more than 150 domestic and international transactions totaling more than $1 billion in closed deals. Reckles' topic is titled: "Changing Market Dynamics Demand that Corporate Leaders Change Their Thinking."

Panel Discussions:

The luncheon will be followed by a series of interactive panel discussions covering a range of subjects of notable relevance to corporate presenters and will include the following:

  • "Making Sense of the Evolving Stock Exchange Landscape" moderated by Dodi Handy, Co-Founder and Managing Principal, Wall Street 1-2-1, LLC; and CEO of Elite Financial Communications Group

    Panelists:
Colleen Chambers, Manager, U.S. Business Development, Toronto Stock Exchange
Kevin Lupowitz, CEO, DirectMarkets, Inc., subsidiary of Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ RODM ])
Joe Oltmanns, Director, Issuer Services, OTC Markets Group

(These panelists will also be participating in the Meet the Money sessions)

    Abstract:
The global capital markets are clearly in flux and this is not strictly due to the prevailing financial crisis. Technology has dramatically changed the economics of this industry by facilitating the entry of alternative trading venues, which in turn is blurring the distinction between stock exchanges and secondary market trading platforms. Moreover, among other considerations, these changes have led to issuers challenging the role of geography when differentiating exchanges -- is geography still relevant in today's global economy? What legitimate factors should an issuer consider before listing/uplisting its securities to a specific exchange or secondary trading platform? Under what circumstances should an issuer consider dual-listing and where to do it? Since most companies go public to gain access to the equity markets, which exchange/trading platform is best suited to serve a company's capital formation needs and why?

  • "Optimizing One-to-One Time with Investors in the Meet the Money Sessions - From the Perspective of the Investors" moderated by J.T. Schroeder, Founding Partner of C4 Capital Markets

    Panelists:
Benjy Burditt, Managing Partner, Princeton Strategic Advisors
Russell Cleveland, Founder and Majority Shareholder, RENN Capital Group
Paul Gorski, Senior Investment Officer, Roswell Capital Partners
Frank Hart, President of Profit Concepts, Ltd., Manager of High Capital Funding

(These panelists will also be participating in the Meet the Money sessions)

Abstract: Given the limited time frame that each presenter will have with each of the investment firms in the Meet the Money sessions, it is vital that every minute be optimized. However, the invited investor audience will be notably diverse. More specifically, there will be institutional investors whose main objective is to discover worthy companies in which to build positions via open market purchases, while there are others who will strictly invest in companies through structured debt and/or equity offerings. There will also be investors who specialize in providing mezzanine financing to qualified companies with anticipated follow-on offerings; while still others will be seeking high-quality companies for which to provide investment banking sponsorship and corporate advisory support. Given the varied investment objectives of the invited investor audience, what are the key considerations that presenters should bear in mind if they are to achieve the greatest possible results with these very different types of investors and investment professionals?

  • "How to Achieve Any Objective in 300 Seconds or Less" presented and moderated by Dr. Jerry Cahn, CEO of Presentation Excellence; Chairman, Vistage New York; and Managing Director, Leader Connections

Panelists (and Wall Street 1-2-1 Communications Coaching Team):
Scott Arnold, Senior Vice President, ICR, Inc.
Todd Atenhan, CEO, EPOCH Financial, Inc.
James Hock, CEO, Hanover International, Inc. and Co-Chairman, National Investment Banking Association
James Kautz, Senior Vice President, BuySide Group, Inc.
Michael Porter, CEO, Porter, LeVay & Rose, Inc.
Tony Schor, CEO, Investor Awareness, Inc. and CEO, North Shore Public Relations, Inc.
Peter Seltzberg, Partner and Regional VP, Hayden IR
Richard Ungaro, CEO, RU Investments, Inc.

    Abstract:
In today's global capital markets, investors have literally thousands of investment options available to them; why should they choose yours? Your mission is clear: Deliver an engaging investor presentation that provides a compelling reason to invest in your company now. Learn how to connect confidently with any investor audience in 300 seconds or less, leading them to appreciate your true goals and guiding them through the decision-making process so they will commit time, money, emotion and other resources necessary to aid you in achieving your key growth objectives.
