("Superior") (TSX:SPB) announces that it has made some minor amendments to the shareholder rights plan (the "Plan") adopted on February 16, 2012 and to be voted on by shareholder of Superior at the upcoming annual and special meeting (the "Meeting") to be held on May 2, 2012. The amendments address comments received from ISS Proxy Advisory Services ("ISS"), an independent proxy voting advisory and corporate governance services firm, to ensure the Plan conformed to ISS's current guidelines. The amended and restated Plan will be filed on SEDAR and blacklined copies reflecting the changes will be available to shareholders at the Meeting and upon request to the Vice-President, Investor Relations and Treasurer of Superior.
