Ansell Capital Corp. Announces Results of Soil Sampling on DAL Property, Yukon; Significant Anomalies Discovered
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 22, 2012) -Ansell Capital Corp. ("Ansell") (TSX VENTURE:ACP) is pleased to announce all assay results from the 2011 soil geochemistry sampling program on the DAL gold project in the Nadaleen trend, Yukon Territory.
The field program consisted of ridge and spur soil sampling (generally at 50m intervals) and was carried out by Ground Truth Exploration Inc., of Dawson City, YK. Analytical work was performed by Acme Labs of Vancouver, BC. 1460 samples were analyzed by ICP-MS for a suite of 37 elements.
The results of the sampling show two very distinct multi-element anomalous trends at both the 95th and 99th percentiles, and are generally coincident with the north and south flanks of a major gradient magnetic high. This regional magnetic anomaly is interpreted to be the outline of an ultramafic unit, and is overlain by a sedimentary sequence which includes limestones, shales, sandstones and conglomerates. The northern anomaly appears to be immediately to the west of Strategic Metals Ltd. Crag zone (see Strategic Metals release December 2, 2011), and exhibits similar geochemical signatures (arsenic±antimony±mercury±thallium±gold). It is also immediately to the east of Expedition Mining Inc.'s Mt Mervyn project which has reported similar significant anomalies (see Expedition release December 1, 2011). Similar geochemical signatures and stratigraphies are seen at ATAC's nearby Osiris zone, which is interpreted to be a Carlin-style gold deposit.
Peak values noted include 114.4 ppb Au, 1202.5 ppm Cu, 9686.0 ppm Zn, 644.7 ppm As and 1620.4 ppm Pb. In addition, significant values of pathfinder elements such as Cd, Sb, Hg and Tl were encountered. Statistics for key elements are shown in the following table:
Cu | Pb | Zn | As | Au | Cd | Sb | Hg | Tl | |
PPM | PPM | PPM | PPM | PPB | PPM | PPM | PPM | PPM | |

Jevin Werbes, President of Ansell commented, "With these encouraging results, we are actively moving forward with 2012 exploration plans for the Dal property. Ansell will be very active in the Yukon as we will be expediting our exploration efforts on Charlotte, Discovery and The Dal this upcoming season."
DAL Property, Yukon
The property consists of 178 mineral claims covering an area of approximately 3,600 hectares located within an east-west corridor that hosts ATAC Resources Ltd.'s Rau Trend (Tiger zone) to the west and ATAC's Nadaleen Trend (Osiris zone) to the east. The claims are contiguous to ATAC's property within the Nadaleen trend.
Historical grab samples taken from outcrops on the property have yielded high-grade gold and copper values. Two samples taken from a showing in the east of the property assayed 20.37 grams per tonne Au, 10.4 per cent Cu and 8.3 g/t Au, 16.0 per cent Cu respectively. One sample taken from a showing to the west of the property assayed 5.27 per cent Cu.
The DAL claims are located within an east-west corridor that hosts ATAC Resources Ltd.'s Rau Trend (Tiger Zone) to the west and ATAC's Nadaleen Trend (Osiris zone) to the east. Grab samples from outcrop on the property have yielded high values of both gold (up to 20.4 g/t Au) and copper (up to 10.4% Cu). The property is mainly underlain by a major magnetic anomaly trending east-west (surveyed by the Geological Survey of Canada). Published geological reports for the area characterize this anomaly as komatiitic ultramafic flows, with associated listwaenites (silica-carbonate-fuchsite-altered serpentinites). The komatiites are reported to be a potential source for copper-nickel-bearing massive sulphide mineralization and the listwaenites a potential host for gold mineralization (J-P Jutras, Yukon Exploration and Geology 2002). The ultramafic sequences occur in an anticlinal structure, exposing a volcano-sedimentary stratigraphic sequence in its core. These formations are overlain by a sedimentary sequence which includes shales, sandstones and conglomerates. In addition, resistant limestone units form prominent hilltops.
